Pedestrian Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver Dies from Injuries
The victim was struck on Manning Gin Road near Jeremy Drive early Sunday morning.
A pedestrian on Manning Gin Road near Jeremy Drive was struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning, July 14, and died at a local hospital from injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released, but the Barrow County Sheriff's Office identified the pedestrian as a white female. She was found unresponsive in the roadway by deputies, and the driver of the vehicle left the scene prior to law enforcement's arrival.
The sheriff’s office is assisting the Georgia State Patrol with the investigation, and more information will be released when it becomes available.
