Obscene Images Spray Painted on Bethlehem Roadway

The images had been left in place several days before authorities were notified.

Three days after first noticing them, a Bethlehem man contacted the Barrow County Sheriff's Office to report some obscene images which had been painted on the roadway.

The man said he first noticed the obscene images -- of male and female body parts -- on Dec. 2, but indicated they could've been there a few days longer. The man was not sure if the images were directed toward him or his family, but wanted the incident documented in case there were any issues in the future.

Extra patrol was requested for the area.
