Suspect Who Attempted to Warn Residents of Law Enforcement Presence Arrested

According to an incident report, the suspect yelled, "Yo' twelve y'all twelve," and the number is synonymous with police.

A deputy with the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office was responding to a complaint of loud music coming from a Yargo Lane residence in Winder when a suspect reportedly warned the occupants the deputy was on site, yelling, “Yo’ twelve y’all twelve.”

According to an incident report, the number is synonymous with police.

The only individual who was arrested, though, was the suspect who attempted to warn the others. When the deputy asked the suspect to stop running, the man continued into the residence. Inside, an older male reportedly told the suspect to get out of his house. When the deputy asked the suspect to walk outside, the man reportedly began to yell and curse and attempted to push past the deputy out the door. Outside, the suspect tried to pull away, reportedly calling the deputy a “cracker” several times, cursing and approaching him in what the deputy described as an aggressive manner. The deputy smelled an odor of alcohol coming from the suspect’ breath.
