More than $4,000 in Jewelry Reported Stolen from Box in Bedroom Dresser
Inside the Police Reports: Patch takes a closer look at recent incidents.
A Statham woman told the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office that more than $4,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from her Jeffferson Road home.
She didn’t know exactly when it happened, but she had her suspicions.
The woman told a deputy the jewelry, which included a $2,000 diamond pendant, was in her jewelry box in the top drawer of a dresser in her master bedroom. She hadn’t looked in the box since early March, but noticed the items missing on May 10.
