Food Left Cooking Unattended Causes Fire
Winder Fire Department responded to blaze Wednesday.
Food left cooking on a stove unattended was the cause of a recent fire, according to the Winder Fire Department.
On Wednesday, firefighters responded to a reported structure fire at 24 Windsor Drive in Winder, where crews found heave smoke showing from the house. Winder engines 1 and 2 and Barrow County Fire Med 3 responded.
The structure suffered heavy fire damage but no injuries were reported.
