Barrow County Emergency Services recently received a $1,700 grant from FM Global to be used in its fire prevention education and public information efforts.
Specifically, the grant will be used to purchase a laptop, camera and accessories that will allow the department to develop fire and life safety presentations tailored to Barrow County and its residents.
“We want to thank Battalion Chief Rob Nowakowski who wrote the application for the grant,” Lt.
