Bushes Snatched From Braselton Highway Business

Landscaping company reported the theft of $150 worth of plants.

Not only did a thief or thieves take some bushes from the grounds of a Braselton business, they undid the work of a local landscaping company as well.

The owner of a Braselton-based landscaping company contacted the Barrow County Sheriff's Office on Oct. 2 after 16 bushes were removed from a landscaping project site on the grounds of Panoz automotive.

The landscaper said 10 juniper bushes and six abelia bushes valued at a total of $150 were dug up and taken.

The landscaper did not know of any potential suspects. The investigating deputy was unable to make contact with anyone at Panoz at the time of the report to determine if video surveillance was available.

The case is listed as active.
