Help For Tinnitus
According to National Institute on Deafness and Other Communicative Disorders "...more than 12 percent of men and almost 14 percent of women are affected by tinnitus."
Tinnitus is more commonly known as "ringing in the ears" however it can also be a hissing, buzzing, even musical sound when no external sound is present. It can be caused by and affected by many things including loud noise, aging, certain medications, cardiovascular issues and other sources.
The good news is that there is help. Sufferers of tinnitus no longer have to "just live with it", as they are often told to do. Here at Hearing Improvement Center of Monroe, we offer several types of breakthrough treatments for tinnitus including SoundCure and Neuromonics. We use scientific matching techniques as well as incorporate retraining therapy to maximize and fine tune your treatment.
You are not alone. You may be surprised to learn that the following celebrities also suffer from and have spoken openly about tinnitus:
William Shatner
Barbara Streisand
Pete Townshend
Steve Martin
Jeff Beck
