Phil Hembrey, 77, of Winder, passed away on Jan. 24 at his residence.
Hembrey, a retired Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, is survived by his wife, Ann Wells Hembrey, children, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 27, from 5-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
