Community Update

Today really got away from me! I started the day at an appreciation breakfast for the donors and volunteers at Peace Place, taught a class at UGA, went to a doctor's appointment, grabbed a quick lunch with a friend, had another meeting, and then finished the work day with a final meeting for a grant that's coming to an end. Tonight I'll be diligently working on my dissertation, which is due on Monday! 

But, I wanted to make sure to update you all on a couple of things:
1.) There are only 7 days until the election! Please--share the Facebook posts, tell your friends, pass out my business cards, wear your Tobias for Winder City Council pins...we are in the final push!
2.) The yard signs have remained at North Georgia Eye Care for the longest they ever have throughout the campaign! I truly hope the thieves have gotten over themselves, and the fact that the signs are there. I hope they have found better things to do than steal them! 
3.) It is my understanding that the personnel file for the City Administrator has been requested, obtained, and shared with the Barrow News. We'll see if they choose to print it (and especially if they will print it before the election)!
4.) Check out the Gwinnet Daily this week. There should be responded to their questions from the three candidates for Winder City Council. Know who you are voting for!
