Boasting 60 antique and collectible dealers, four local plant nurseries, holiday crafters, primitives, ironworks, advertising, vintage jewelry, North Georgia potters, vintage tools, wood working, book signings, handmade soaps and local jellies and honey — this event promises fun for the whole family.

There will be plenty of rib-sticking festival food on hand, as well, and it’s the perfect way to get an early jump on your holiday gift shopping list.

While in town, be sure to pop in to some of Braselton’s great antique shops, such as Countryside Antiques & Collectibles, A Flea An’tique, Braselton Antique Mall (located in the historic Braselton Bros. building) and Our Nana’s Attic.

The following weekend, the town of Braselton plays host to an entirely different kind of event — the “Got Drugs?” Disposal Campaign. With prescription drug abuse on the rise across the nation, prevention is everyone’s business. Braselton urges residents to be part of the solution and keep kids safe by cleaning out medicine cabinets and bringing unused medications for disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. You can drop off your bottles in the Community Room at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Facility. Please enter at the rear of the building. Drug disposal will be free and anonymous.

Check back every Friday for a new City Spotlight on Braselton.
