Holiday Tour of Homes to Benefit Statham Dog Park

Proceeds from the home tour portion of "Christmas in Statham" will support construction of a much-anticipated dog park in Furr Lane Park.

For anyone who proudly places their precious pup front and center in their annual family holiday photo or dutifully hangs a stocking out for their favorite Fido each Christmas Eve, Patch has just received word of an event you won’t want to miss.

The Holiday Tour of Homes in Statham — a special portion of the second annual “Christmas in Statham” event on Saturday, Dec. 10 — costs just $5 to attend and all proceeds benefit the construction of the Statham Dog Park at Furr Lane Park.

The tour of homes is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. and is just one part of a day-long, holiday-themed community event in historic downtown Statham.

“Christmas in Statham” also includes a holiday market showcasing Christmas vendors, sweets and gifts of every imagining from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. A Christmas parade kicks off at 4 p.m., and the fun continues into the evening with holiday caroling and visits with Santa. This event is a terrific way for friends, families and neighbors in Statham to gather together to spread some holiday cheer while raising funds for our furry friends.

There's still time to get involved! To take part in “Christmas in Statham” by reserving your FREE booth space or parade entry, call Randy Gordon at 770-725-7771.
