Don't Just Drink Sweet Tea, Read the Magazine

The June online issue the local magazine is now available.

A new month means a new issue of the local magazine "Sweet Tea"

Dubbed "The Magazine That Refreshes," this "good news" publication is available in print form every two months in Barrow and surrounding counties, and an online-only edition is availble on alternating months.

The magazine's founder, Statham resident Beth Barton, is author of the month at  in Winder. Barrow County residents can stop by and pick up a signed copy of Barton's latest cookbook, "Crockpot and Casserole Creations Served Best With Sweet Tea," during a book signing reception from 4 to 7 p.m. this Thursday, June 7. Barton's first cookbook, "Served Best with Sweet Tea" will also be available.
