Job Openings with Barrow County Government

Barrow County is hiring a network engineer. Under general supervision, this employee performs routine to complex technical work in the design, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer software, hardware and network systems. Work involves maintaining server and workstation connectivity, keeping them up-to-date with new software/hardware and making them usable to complete the user’s job. Click here for more information. 

The county is also hiring a senior network engineer. Under limited supervision, this employee performs technical and administrative work in the design, installation, support and maintenance for the MIS Department. Work involves interaction with other MIS staff supporting the organizational policies and goals therefore ensuring proper function of Barrow County information processing systems, including, but not limited to, the local area network (LAN), establishing and maintaining LAN security and security documentation and procedures.
