  • Why go: To enjoy this second annual event, which includes a parade at 4 p.m., visits with Santa, free activities for children and more

  • When and where: 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in Winder
  • Why go: To take a 30-minute guided tour of seven indoor and outdoor scenes that present the Biblical story of Christmas β€” meet Mary and Joseph, shepherds, Roman guards, visit the manager after the birth of Jesus and more
  • Cost: Free to attend
  • When and where: 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at
  • Why go: To cheer for the home team when Winder-Barrow takes to the court
  • Cost: $5
  • When and where: 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at
  • Why go: To visit the historic fort while enjoying tours, carols, refreshments and a visit from Santa
  • Cost: $5 parking pass
  • When and where: 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at
  • Why go: To see performers of all ages singing and playing songs of the season β€” this year's show will feature guitar, piano, violin, stand-up electric bass, clarinet and multiple vocal arrangements
