WBCT Donates to the Winder Library

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre recently presented Shakespeare’s comedy “Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Winder Cultural Arts Center.  As a part of the WBCT program to give back to the community, a donation from the proceeds of the show was presented to the Winder Library in the amount of $245.  This check also included donations given by the audience members during the show.  The photo shows WBCT President, Tery Overbey, presenting the check to Kelli McDaniel, the Winder Library Manager.

The next WBCT Main Stage show will be “Stalag 17”, and it will be opening on May 30th and run for two weekends.  A part of the proceeds of this show will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.  Auditions for “Stalag 17” will be held on Monday & Tuesday, March 17th and 18th at 6:30 pm at the theater.  A cast of 22 men is needed, and they can be ages 16 and up.
