This meeting will address recent law enforcement related activity in the “Zone 1” district for the city of Winder. The Zone 1 police patrol district includes any property within the city limits of Winder located south of the railroad tracks. All business owners and residents of this area are encouraged to attend. Information will be made available on how residents and the police department can work together to make these areas safe and potentially crime free.
There will be additional meetings planned in coming months to address two other patrol areas within the Winder City Limits. Those meetings will be specific to areas north of the railroad tracks and east of Broad Street (Zone 2) and areas north of the railroad tracks and west of Broad Street (Zone 3).
