The 1st Annual Holly Jolly Elf Trot is scheduled for Sunday, December 9th at 3:00 p.m. The race will start from the corner of Woodlawn Avenue and Candler Street in Winder and will wind through the downtown area and end at Candler and Woodlawn. Early registration is $20 (through Dec. 3rd). Participants can register through Active.com or by mailing in the registration form on www.winderdowntown.com. All preregistered participants will be guaranteed a long sleeved t-shirt and while supplies last the day of race. (It's a cool shirt - you will definitely want one!) Awards will be given to male and female overall masters and grandmasters and each age group. All proceeds will be used to fund downtown events for the City of Winder. This race is a fun and healthy initiative supported by area fitness facilities to encourage people to get and stay healthy.
