Book Sale

Statham Friends of the Library
Raffle tickets for the “Summer Fun” quilt are still available at the library, through an FOL member, at Statham City Hall, or at the Friends of the Library booth at the Statham Sunflower Festival until 4:00 PM on Saturday September 21, 2013. This unique quilt, donated by the “Jug Tavern Quilters,” is now on display at the Statham Library on Railroad Street. The winning ticket will be drawn at the festival about 4:00 PM.
In conjunction with a booth with baked goods at the Statham Sunflower Festival, the Fiends of the Library will host a book sale in the Community Center from10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on September 21, 2013. Besides individual book sales, they will offer a custom Statham Friends of the Library book bag which you may fill with as many books of your choice as you can for a one-time price of $10.00.
Books may still be donated for the sale. Call Janann McIniss at 678-726-7089 for pickup.
Proceeds from all events sponsored by the Friends of the Library are used to fund special projects including the Summer Reading Program, the recent purchase of the children's computer, and other special items not included in the library budget.
