Council Candidate: Discussion and Change Hard to Accomplish With Current Voting Block

Lorin Sinn-Clark hopes to add a fresh perspective to the Winder City Council.

According to candidate Lorin Sinn-Clark, the Winder City Council needs more newcomers.

"For some 20+ years we have had a city council composed of 4 or 5 veteran councilmen and 1 or 2 'newcomers.' With all due respect to the veteran councilman and with sincere thanks for their years of service, this has created a dynamic/voting block that has made discussion and change very hard to accomplish," Sinn-Clark wrote in a blog post on Barrow Patch.

If elected, Sinn-Clark would be a third newcomer which she believes would make discussion and change possible.

"This is an exciting prospect for Winder and it is an exciting prospect for me," she wrote.
