Tripp Halstead Returns to Hospital

The toddler had returned home Friday after spending five months hospitalized.

UPDATE: Stacy Halstead, Tripp's mother, posted that he has been admitted to the hospital so doctors and staff can monitor his liver enzymes, which are elevated.

"We have no idea what this means," she wrote. "The Drs don't know either.. Hence.. why we are spending the night. Hope to know more tomorrow. Please remember he is still a privacy patient so please don't call the hospital. I will keep posting through the night. Thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts and posts. Love you all."

Tripp was transported via ambulance Monday morning, according to a post on the Facebook page where his family provides updates on his condition. His mother, Stacy Halstead, posted a couple hours later that Tripp had undergone X-rays and lab tests and was preparing for an ultrasound.
