Braselton Seeks Input on 2012 Events

Taking a cue from its tagline “It’s Better in Braselton”, the North Georgia town is continually striving to provide the very best to its residents and visitors.

With a jam-packed calendar of events already planned from spring through the holiday season in 2012, in a recent post on the “Work, Live, Play in Braselton, Georgia” Facebook page, event organizers begged the questions, “What was your favorite event?” and “What do you want to be sure we do again?” As it currently stands, below is the latest schedule of events for the town of Braselton in the coming year: 

• April 28 and 29, 2012 — Antique and Gardening Festival at Braselton Park
• May 4 and 5, 2012 — Braselton-Hoschton Relay for Life at Hoschton Park
• May 19, 2012 — Braselton Beach Bash Festival at Braselton Park
• June 2012 (date TBD) — Movie in the Park at dusk in Braselton Park
• July 4, 2012 — Celebrate Braselton Festival and Parade at Braselton Park
• July 2012 (date TBD) — Movie in the Park at dusk in Braselton Park
• August 2012 (date TBD) — Movie in the Park at dusk in Braselton Park
• September 2012 (date TBD) — Movie in the Park at dusk in Braselton Park
• Oct. 20 and 21, 2012 — Antique and Holiday Festival at Braselton Park
• Nov. 10, 2012 — Lighting of the Braselton Tree and Movie in the Park at Braselton Brothers Store and Braselton Park
• Nov. 17, 2012 — Celebrate the Holidays in Braselton Festival and Parade at Braselton Park

Friendly reminder: Town of Braselton schedule of holiday closings

Town of Braselton offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26, and will close again at noon Friday, Dec. 30 and will be closed all day Monday Jan. 2. All offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3. If you have a police emergency, please call 911. If you have a water or sewer emergency, please call the employee on call at 678-283-0437.
