Show Love for the Statham Library in Time for Valentine’s Day

Statham Friends of the Library offers two great ways for residents to support their local library.

Have you hugged your local librarian today?

Aside from overt shows of affection, Statham Friends of the Library have come up with two unique ways for residents to show their love of the library in time for Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14.

First and foremost, the group is sponsoring a raffle for a Valentine basket filled with Valentine goodies. Valued at more than $75, included inside the basket are candies, romantic movies, soaps and a gift certificate for a night of wining and dining at Olive Garden. Raffle tickets may be purchased at either the Statham Library or at at $1 each or $5 for 10 tickets.

Your contribution could help your favorite local library AND win a basket full of goodies for your sweetheart all in one fell swoop.

Secondly — and perhaps the best way to show your love for the library on a long-term basis — residents can become members of the Statham Friends of the Library. Membership in the 501(c)3 organization is a one-time $5 fee.
