Find the next furry member of your family here.

A lab mix and a cat are awaiting their forever homes at Barrow County Animal Control. Read the descriptions to see if one of these pets is right for your family.

  • A mahogany, male lab mix, 3 months old. The white patches on his chest and toes make him even more adorable. He weighs 24 pounds. He is a sweet and affectionate puppy and is good with people of all ages. He was found running at large, so animal control has no background information on him.
  • A black and white, male cat, about 3 to 4 years old. This big fella weighs 12 pounds and is neutered. He is a very friendly and loving kitten and is good with people of all ages. Animal control has no background information on him.

The adoption fee for all cats and dogs is $100. The fee includes spay or neuter, a physical exam, a fecal exam, de-worming, a rabies vaccine, a distemper/parvo vaccine and micro-chipping.

For more information on these or other pets, call the shelter at 770-307-3012. Shelter hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
