A new manager assumed responsibility of the operations at the Winder Creamery on this date in 1945.
Chester Johnson assumed duties as manager of the Winder Creamery on Oct. 1, 1945, after completing a short course in dairy management at the University of Georgia. Johnson invited residents to call the creamery with any questions or comments oon the delivery of dairy products.
