News Nearby: Madison Family's Home Gets 'Extreme Makeover'

Much progress is being made at a construction site in Madison where the design crew of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," local builders, and volunteers are constructing a new home for Anaiah Rucker and her family.

Rucker is credited with earlier this year, but injuring herself in the process. The family was surprised on Sunday and sent on a vacation to Walt Disney World. 

Though it has been a week of extreme temperature, the spirits of the volunteers in Madison are as high as the temperatures. Pictures demonstrate that they are hard at work despite the heat.

The team has only a week to build and decorate the new home and they work around the clock, even in the middle of the night.

The house is set for reveal on Saturday, July 16 in the afternoon.
