A man jailed on assault and obscene language charges in Cartersville was found to have $13,000 in $100 bills taped to the inside of his underwear, according to the Cartersville Police Department incident report.
Witnesses said Frederick Dorell Pass, 41, of Decatur, wanted to return a recorder at Radio Shack, but became agitated when the manager wanted to ensure it was working properly during the Monday incident about 7:25 p.m.
Pass allegedly used a racial slur and swung his fist at the alleged victim, striking the manager on the right arm.

GBI to Assist UGA Police in Search for Suspect in Attempted Rape — Athens Patch
Friday's attack of a woman on a trail at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia was the first time such a thing has happened there in 40 years. That's according to some of the employees working in the popular facility.
"You have to be aware, everywhere," said UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson.
The woman who was targeted Friday afternoon had her wits about her, authorities have said, because she managed to elude a tall, slim white man, thought to be college age. He came at her with a knife and threated to rape her, but she got away and he fled.
