New Nearby: Caterpillar Plant in Bogart Expected to Have Strong Economic Impact Across State

In 2013, Caterpillar is ramping up hiring for its planned Bogart facility, which is expected to reach 1,400 employees by 2018. The Georgia Economic Developers Association even named the "deal of the year" during the annual GEDA conference in September.
