Moms Talk: Botox Injections for Children?

Join this week's discussion.

One morning while getting my child ready for school, I flipped on the TV as I do every morning. Good Morning America highlighted a story on an 8-year-old receiving Botox injections. The story caught my attention. As a mother of a child that has participated in the "pageant world" I understand things such as light make up, hair pieces, maybe even fake eyelashes and fake teeth. But Botox? At 8 years old this child's mother is giving her Botox injections because of "wrinkles." I, personally, think it's ridiculous to give a child Botox.

I typed in a search on AOL and quickly noticed the sweet, little girl's face I had just seen on TV just a few days ago. Since the broadcast, the child has been taken away from the mother.

How do you feel about this story? I am very interested in hearing your responses.
