Meet Missi.

She is a mixed breed of border collie and terrier. She was born July 6, 2008. Missi was rescued by her current family when she was 6 weeks old. She lives in Winder with her mom Donna, dad John and sister Ashley.

Missi's favorite toy is a stuffed "tick" from PetSmart. She has pulled all the stuffing out of it and it's been sewn back in for her a dozen times!  She knows it by name and will bring it to you when she wants to play.

The most unique thing about Missi is that she knows how loved she is and how her life was saved when she was rescued her from horrible, life-threatening conditions.

"She is beyond a great pet and is very, very smart and well behaved," Donna said. "One of her many special skills is that after I bathe her, she knows her routine. When it is time to clean her ears, she will roll on to one side to let me clean that ear and then automatically rolls to the other side for me to get the other ear!"

Missi does not like the sound of gun shots, thunder or fireworks. She will "do her business" on command and loves to ride in the car with mommy, daddy and sissy. She is a fun, warm and loving pup.
