March 29, 1969: Traffic Mishap
A young driver runs a stop sign and runs right into another vehicle.
A 13-year-old boy ran a stop sign March 29, 1969, and hit a vehicle driven by a Monroe resident. The accident occurred at the intersection of Ga. Highway 11 and Ga. Highway 324 in Bethlehem. The youth, who was riding a 1969 Honda suffered a broken leg and was charged with running a stop sign and hitting another vehicle.
