Man Says He Was Threatened With Gun During Road Rage Confrontation

Incident started on I-85 and ended in a Dacula subdivision.

A Dacula man said he was threatened with a gun after an angry motorist followed him to his Meridian Drive home on May 2.

The man, who was a passenger in the family's vehicle along with his two young sons, said his wife, the driver, passed a slow moving Nissan Quest on I-85. According to the man, the driver of the Nissan Quest then sped up and began flashing his high beams at them. The Quest driver then allegedly followed the family to their Dacula home. The man told his wife and children to stay in the car while he spoke with the other motorist.

"[The man] said a white male with long hair and a beard got out of the vehicle and pointed a gun in his face," the officer wrote in the report. "[The man] said the two exchanged words and then the suspect pointed the gun at himself, placing the barrel of the gun underneath his chin."
