Inmate Work Crews Log Thousands of Hours

County inmate work crews have logged more than 3,000 hours this summer, with most of those hours spent doing janitorial and landscaping duties.

The reports Sheriff Jud Smith has had two eight-inmate details working at more than 40 locations during the summer clearing county roads and maintaining properties.
