Five Things to Do this Weekend: Nov. 4-6

Support the local Shop with a Cop program by participating in a 5K trail run or walk at Fort Yargo on Saturday.

  • When and where: Registration begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, and the 5K starts at 9 at
  • Why go: To enjoy a scenic run or walk through the fall foliage at Fort Yargo while supporting the Shop with a Cop program
  • Cost: $25

2. 

  • When and where: Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at in Winder
  • Why go: Get a head start on the Christmas season and get your child in the holiday spirit by having his or her photo taken with Santa. Children will also be able to paint an ornament and enjoy refreshments.
  • Cost: $18 per child, which includes one 4 x 6 color print, the ornament and refreshments

  • Why go: To check out classic and unique cars owned by members of the Auburn Cruisers
  • Cost: Free to attend

  • When and where: 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at 653 Gainesville Highway in Winder, and 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 at __
  • Why go: To paint colorful, fall foliage during a one-day, outdoor workshop
  • Cost: $80
