• Why go: To see the longest running American Broadway musical of all-time produced locally and support the acclaimed Aurora Theatre as it opens its 16th season

• When and where: 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Morehouse College in Atlanta
• Why go: To be a part of history at the first stop on this tour, which will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and will culminate at the dedication of his memorial in Washington, D.C.. on Aug. 28
• Pricing: Free admission with a $3 parking fee in Morehouse deck

• When and where: 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday on Fourth Avenue in downtown
• Why go: To spend a fun day with the family viewing cars, eating good foods and listening to great music

• When and where: 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the State Botanical Garden in Athens
• Why go: To hear this talented choir perform marches, popular tunes and classical pieces in the beautiful conservatory at the gardens
