Excitement Already Mounting for Two Local Summer Festivals

The city of Winder website now features vendor, crafter, competition team and judge forms available for download for this year's Lazy Daze and Jug Tavern festivals.

Forget spring fever. The planners of two great Southern festivals already have their gears turning for summer. With just a little more than five months to go before this year’s Lazy Daze Music Festival and a mere seven months between now and the launch of the 2012 Jug Tavern Festival and Chili Cook-off, the city of Winder has hit the ground running in the new year.

Based on the popularity of both events among attendees, participants, volunteers and vendors, the city’s website now features applications for craft, gift, food, beer and wine vendors available for download for the Lazy Daze Festival on July 28, 2012. The city has also recently uploaded judges forms, barbecue teams forms, applications for performers, registration forms for car show participants and applications for food, beer, wine, craft and gift vendors for the Jug Tavern Festival and Chili Cook-off on Sept. 7 through 8, 2012.

If you wish to take part in either of these popular festivals — either behind the scenes, showing your wares out among festival attendees or front-and-center up on stage — visit the forms page on the Winder events website to download an application and reserve your spot.
