Employee Turnover in Barrow Schools Means Almost Triple Number of Jobs Compared to Nearby Districts
The school system currently lists more than 50 openings for certified positions on its website.
The Barrow County School System is experiencing what the Barrow Journal calls "significant turnover" in a recent report.
Since Friday, May 24, the school system has posted 68 openings for administrators, teachers and counselors, the newspaper reports, almost triple the number of openings compared to nearby school systems.
