Job description: Performs emergency work in receiving and responding to fire alarms and other emergency calls as required, and performs the necessary functions and operations to efficiently and effectively protect the lives and property of those in need of assistance.
Qualifications: Requires a technical college diploma supplemented by one to two years of experience and training in fire service programs; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have successfully completed required courses and certification and may be required to possess additional certifications as deemed necessary by the county. Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license.
