Employers Have Job Openings in Construction

Jobs include pipe laying, operating a bulldozer, roofing and more.

Patch is highlighting job openings in construction posted to the Georgia Department of Labor's onine job board. 

  • Pipe layer/laborer — Will work as part of a crew that leaves from Gainesville  at 5:30 a.m. and travels to various work sites in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Some overnight travel may be required. Job duties include laying pipe for storm drains, water, sewer and performing all forms of labor. Employer requires a drug screen. Requires a minimum of one year of experience as a pipe layer. 
  • Finish dozer operator — Candidate will be a finish dozer operator for a grading crew in the Braselton area. Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Reliable personal transportation required. 
  • Off road dump truck/pan operator — Employee will work for a grading crew in the Barrow County area. Position requires a minimum of two years of experience. 
  • Commercial roofing techs — Primarily installs membrane roofing and metal trim for restaurant construction throughout the southeast and midwest. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must have a valid Class C driver's license.
