Job title: Facilities maintenance worker
Description: Walton County has an opening in Monroe for a facilities maintenance worker. Responsibilities include performing technical duties in all trade areas to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of all county buildings and facilities. This employee will perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, assist with carpentry work, roof repairs and other assigned tasks, participate in phases of construction and renovation projects and perform routine grounds work and maintain exterior landscape of building.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with vocational or technical training in electrical, HVAC, plumbing and related construction trades. Applicants should have a minimum of two years of experience as a general facility maintenance worker or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
