Gwinnett County is hiring for the following positions. 

Job title: Part-time recreation leader 
Job description:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations of facilities, including supervising participants and programs, assisting special interest groups, dealing, with the public, teaching classes, camps and monitoring activities in a variety of areas
• Develops and assists with newsletters and other promotional materials
• Performs various clerical/receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, greeting customers, implementation of a resources pool and volunteer corps
• Performs some daily housekeeping duties inside and outside of the facilities

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in recreation programming, supervision, customer service and athletic scheduling
• Must be able to work a variety of hours, Sunday through Saturday, daytime and evenings
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• CPR/First Aide certified preferred
• A valid driver’s license is required
• This job entails fiduciary responsibility and will require a credit check

Job title: Part-time recreation park attendant 
Job description:

• Maintains facilities and grounds by sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, vacuuming and performing related custodial duties
• Picks up trash in high impact areas, picks up trail debris and maintains trails
• Assists customers and residents with general questions and concerns regarding event location or facility problems
• Assists with program registration by answering phone calls, processing registration fees, completing rental contracts, and making deposits
• Clean restrooms and pavilions throughout park system
• Assists in overseeing work performed by court mandated CSW or volunteers
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• General laborer experience in maintenance, related recreation support experience and janitorial services
• Valid Georgia driver’s license
• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
• This job entails fiduciary responsibility and will require a credit check
