Description: Intuit, a company that provides business and financial management solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, financial institutions and accounting professionals, is recruiting remote tax advisors. This employee puts his or her tax knowledge and experience to work as a TurboTax “Ask A Tax Expert” Advisor answering customer questions. This is a seasonal job, from December through April, with a flexible work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications: Applicants should be an active enrolled agent with current certification or an active CPA or be an active practicing attorney having passed the bar exam with up-to-date credentials. Applicants should also have experience preparing federal and state tax returns for either individuals or businesses, the ability to discuss complex tax topics and situations using excellent verbal and written communication skills,  proficiency in researching IRS and state publications, regulations and GAAP publications. Experience using major tax preparation software and electronic filing is a plus. Applicants must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to work overtime as required.
