Daily Dose for Job Seekers: Walton County Hiring Development Inspector

The Walton County government has an opening for a development inspector responsible for performing technical tasks in the review of development plans to ensure compliancewith applicable codes, policies and guidelines. This employee also conducts on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations, specifications, codes, policies and guidelines.

Qualifications for this job include a high school diploma or GED with vocational or technical school training to obtain required knowledge in code enforcement and development inspections with a minimum of two to three years of experience in conducting inspections of new residential and commercial construction and developments. Applicants must possess a valid Georgia driver’s license and hold certification, as required.
