Job title: Production planning associate
Description: Olympic Steel in Winder is hiring a full-time production planning associate. This employee is responsible for monitoring orders and incorporating them into the production schedule. This employee will also assign or re-assign material orders as necessary, while working with the sales team to manage top accounts and repeat orders. This person will focus on movement of aged inventory and is also responsible for applying coils to sales orders according to strategy set by management and using material reserved for specific customers if available.
Qualifications: Applicants should have experience in a related field, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, proven administrative abilities, strong mathematical, analytical, organizing, planning, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills, proven teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and proficiency in Lotus Notes, Word, and Excel.
