The crisis intervention specialist provides supervision, safety and coordination for residents of a local domestic violence shelter.

A Barrow County employer is seeking a crisis intervention specialist. This employee provides supervision, safety and coordination for residents of a local domestic violence shelter from 3 to 11 p.m. and on an as needed basis. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and one year of work experience with group living situations. Experience working in an emergency shelter setting and experience working with survivors of domestic violence is preferred.
