City Spotlight on Statham: Your Event Headquarters

Residents of Statham are very fortunate to have not just one, but three community buildings to choose from when planning special events.

Residents of Statham are very fortunate to have not just one, but three community buildings to choose from when planning special events such as organizational gatherings, family reunions, anniversaries, birthday parties, business meetings, church socials and so much more.

All three buildings are available for Statham residents to rent individually for $75 for the first four hours or $175 for an all-day rental of up to eight hours. If you happen to live outside Statham city limits, non-residents are also welcome to rent one of these facilities at the rate of $200 for the first four hours or $400 for an all-day rental of up to eight hours.

A $150 deposit is required when the key to the facility of choice is picked up and the contract is signed at , $125 of which will be refunded once the key is returned and the facility passes inspection. Copies of the rental agreement and building rules are available for review online at the city of Statham website or can be picked up at City Hall.

Local event organizers and party planners may take their pick of the following:

  • Statham Community Center — Located downtown at 363 Jefferson St., this popular, newly-renovated former fire station is a charming historic spot to host any gathering. The walls of the 2,000-square-foot facility are adorned with pictures of the city through the years, and the center comes well-equipped with a 500-square-foot commercial kitchen, 12 60-inch round tables, 112 chairs and four rectangular tables.
  • Walter Hillman Community Building — This building is located on Park Street.
  • Furr Lane Park Community Building — This building is inside Furr Lane Park off Dooley Town Road.
