City Spotlight on Braselton: Get to Know Your Town Council

Shining a spotlight on council member Richard Mayberry.

A lifelong resident of Braselton and proud member of the town council since 2005, Richard Mayberry was originally inspired to seek political office as a means of giving back to the community he loves.

“I'm not in it for me, I'm in it for the residents, businesses and visitors of Braselton,” Mayberry said.  “Braselton is so lucky to be where it is today, which leads me to believe a very bright future is ahead of us here.”

Topping his list of signs pointing toward that bright future are future road signs.

“With the road projects going on, a positive transformation is happening in Braselton,” Mayberry said. “Once the road work is completed, we're looking forward to a Town Green becoming a reality.”

Council Member Mayberry said he feels each of these projects represent a proactive step in the right direction toward making Braselton the best place it can be for residents, businesses and visitors alike.
