City Spotlight on Bethlehem: Will You be a Star Among Many at This Year’s Star Fest?

Only one month remains to send your exhibitor application to the friendly folks at Bethlehem City Hall, securing your spot for a craft, business, organization or food vendor booth at the 2011 Star Festival on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The Bethlehem Star Festival, which falls on the second Saturday in October each year since it first made its debut in 2005, has quickly become a favorite event among residents and visitors of the area. Aside from the presence of stellar local artists and crafters, the festival also features live musical entertainment and fun activities for the kids throughout the day.

If you wish to take part in this year’s event, keep in mind that exhibitors will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date the completed application and check are received, as well as available remaining space. Sorry, but no verbal reservations can be accepted and no refunds will be issued after the deadline date of Sept. 23. The Star Festival Committee reserves the right to restrict participation to only those exhibitors whose products or services are in keeping with the family-oriented theme of the festival.

Available exhibitor spaces are as follows:

• Craft space — One 12x12 space for $50 or two adjoining 12x12 spaces for $80
• Businesses/community organizations — One 12x12 space for $50 or two adjoining 12x12 spaces for $80   
• Food vendors — One 12x12 space for $65 or two 12x12 spaces for $110
