Pieces of colorful carnival rides sat waiting for assembly Tuesday afternoon at Jug Tavern Park — pieces that will come together to create the carnival for an inaugural event in the city of Winder.
Winder SummerFest will kick off at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, with rides, games, food and more.
The event will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday and noon to 10 p.m. Monday.
