Barrow Today for Thursday, May 31: Take on a Total Wellness Challenge

Bethlehem First UMC will offer nutrition and fitness tips, recipes, encouragement and accountability with love cheering participants on during this 90-day program.

invites Barrow residents to get healthier through the  — a 90-day program focusing on the importance of nutrition, fitness and an overall healthy lifestyle.

But hurry! The challenge will begin Friday, June 1. 

Bethlehem First UMC will offer nutrition and fitness tips, recipes, encouragement and accountability with love cheering participants on.

There will be a weekly weigh-in, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Fridays and between 8 a.m. and noon Saturdays that participants can do individually with an instructor or member of the church's wellness center staff. 

At the end of 90 days, awards given to the male and female participants who lose the greatest number of pounds and those who lose the greatest percentage of weight.

There is a $20 registration fee for this challenge, in addition to membership fees that include unlimited access to the church fitness center and group fitness classes. Memberships are available for church members and nonmembers. Click here for more info on fees.
